Two lakes on day 2

Al's row today covered the section of the Trent-Severn Canal that's actually two lakes - Couchiching and Simcoe. We met Al for lunch at Bridge Port Marina in Orillia on The Narrows, the passage between the two lakes, and supplied him with all the provisions the guide boat could carry, since he won't see any grocery stores or cafes for the next several days.

Heading to the Narrows

It was another strenuous day, with Al covering 30 miles, sometimes with a stiff cross wind. He reached lock 41, where he's camping for the night.

Lock 41 - a tranquil-looking spot but with a lot of unfortunate traffic noise overhead
